Eco-Flo Gum Tragacanth is a water-based, low-VOC, natural gum-based edge smoothing and polishing compound for use on natural or colored vegetable-tanned leather. Produces a polished, smooth, shiny, and professional-looking edge. *Specifications: Small capacity: 4.4 fl. once. (130.12 ml) Large capacity: 32 fl. once. (946.35 ml) *Directions: Shake well before each use. For best results, round the leather edge with a skiving edger before application. Apply a thin layer of tragacanth to the skived edge of the leather with a slightly damp wool pad, cloth, or sponge. Rub the edge very vigorously with an edger, bone folder, or piece of canvas. As the tragacanth dries and warms due to friction caused by rubbing, the treated edge will darken and shine. Repeat until the desired browning is achieved. Be careful when applying tragacanth to leather that is to be stained, aged, or dyed, as it may resist or block the penetration of certain colors.
