Fiks 700 Black Cyano is a black cyanoacrylate instant adhesive, enriched with rubber and high viscosity, offering a drying time of 30 to 45 seconds.
Product Features
- Viscosity: Thick grade 700, making it ideal for vertical or irregular surfaces without dripping.
- Flexibility: Formula reinforced with elastomers and infused with rubber, providing high resistance to shocks, vibrations, and peeling.
- Drying time: Fast setting in 30 to 45 seconds (which can be accelerated using a compatible activator/accelerator).
- Applications: Perfect for bonding metal, rubber, plastics, and composites, or for filling gaps, cracks, and making repairs that require a black finish.
Personal protection
- Eyes: Wear safety glasses. Vapors can irritate the eyes, and an accidental splash can instantly stick the eyelids together.
- Skin: Use appropriate disposable gloves (such as nitrile). Absolutely avoid cotton or wool gloves, as cyanoacrylate reacts violently with these fibers (risk of high heat or burns).
Work environment
- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area or under a fume hood. Cyanoacrylate vapors irritate the respiratory tract and mucous membranes.
- Surfaces: Protect your work surface with a silicone mat or wax paper, as glue does not stick to it easily.
- Contact with skin: Do not force the skin to peel off. Soak the area in warm soapy water or apply acetone (nail polish remover) to soften the adhesive, then gently detach it.
- Eye contact: Rinse immediately and thoroughly with lukewarm water for several minutes while keeping the eyelids open, then seek medical attention urgently.
- Storage: Keep the bottle upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maximize its shelf life. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
