Texfast Solid Brass Spur Grommets & Washers
Texfast Solid Brass Spur Grommets & Washers
Ensure maximum hold and extreme tear resistance with Texfast Solid Brass Spur Grommets & Washers. Engineered for industrial, marine, and premium leathercraft applications, these heavy-duty grommets feature inter-locking spur teeth that grip tightly into the material—preventing slippage, twisting, and pulling out under high stress or lateral tension.
🔹 Why Choose Texfast Spur Grommets?
- Inter-locking Spur Design: The washer features built-in spurs (teeth) that bite directly into the leather or fabric during setting. This locks the assembly in place and prevents rotation or pull-through under heavy loads.
- 100% Solid Brass Construction: Made from premium non-ferrous solid brass, these grommets are completely rustproof and corrosion-resistant—ideal for marine, outdoor, and harsh weather conditions.
- Industrial & Heavy-Duty Performance: Recommended for heavy-duty leather, industrial canvas, truck tarps, sails, awnings, and structural webbing.
🛠️ Installation & Setting Tool Advice
To ensure a clean, secure setting without damaging the spur teeth:
- Must be set with dedicated Spur Grommet Dies. Standard flat sheet grommet dies are incompatible and will crush the spurs.
- Compatible with heavy-duty hand presses, foot presses, or manual hammer setting tools designed for spur grommets.
