What is Deercow leather?
The term "Deercow" does not refer to a hybrid animal species, but rather a type of cowhide treated to mimic the softness of deer leather. Here are its characteristics:
Type: Full-grain cowhide.
Flexibility: Very supple and flexible, similar to deer leather.
Finish: Barrel dyed, without pigment, or "Naked" finish coat
Thickness: 1.2-1.4mm - 3 to 3.5 oz
Usage: Gloves, mittens, clothing, moccasins, crafts, and indigenous clothing.
